Gymlogio is a workout logging app. It is built local-first: your training log lives on your device, and the app works fully without an account.
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is used and to improve it. This collects app interactions (for example which screens are opened and which features are used), device and app information (device model, operating system, app version), an app-instance identifier, and approximate region. Analytics data is not linked to your account, is not used to show you advertising, and is retained by Google Analytics for a limited period. You can turn analytics off at any time in Settings → Usage analytics.
The app may show a small number of banners for partner products, marked with a disclosure badge (for example "Affiliate"), containing affiliate links. Banners are the same for everyone: nothing about you is used to select them, and displaying them collects no data about you. Tapping a banner opens the partner's site in your browser; that site has its own privacy policy and may recognize that the visit came from Gymlogio.
Without an account, your workout log never leaves your device: it is stored only in the app's local storage and is removed when you uninstall the app. The contents of your log are not part of analytics.
Signing in with Google or Apple enables cloud backup and sync between your devices. In that case the following is stored in our database (Google Firebase / Cloud Firestore), associated with your account:
This data is used solely to provide backup and sync. It is encrypted in transit, is never sold, never shared with third parties for their own purposes, and is not used for advertising or profiling. Access is restricted to your own account by database security rules.
Analytics, sign-in and storage are provided by Google Firebase (Firebase privacy and security) and, if you choose it, Sign in with Apple. These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service.
Cloud data is kept until you delete it. You can delete your account and all cloud data at any time inside the app (Settings → your account → Delete account), or by following the steps on the account deletion page. The log stored locally on your device is yours and remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Analytics data is held against an app-instance identifier rather than your account and expires on Google Analytics' retention schedule.
Gymlogio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
